HOW YOUR TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION HELPS
YOUR DONATION IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE
The Fenix Capoeira Outreach program is an on-going program that offers full and partial scholarships to students in local schools and in our studio to qualifying families in order to make regular capoeira training possible. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible.
Capoeira Enriches Kids' Lives
Capoeira instills the values of responsibility and self-confidence while awakening creativity through the development of self-expression. It promotes quick reaction and decision making which translates into enhanced memory retrieval in the classroom; training Capoeira increases memory, balance, mood and behavior, and like any regular physical activity, is the first defense against childhood obesity.
Fenix Capoeira strives to build community, share culture, and promote individual vitality through the teaching and continued development of Capoeira.
Fenix Capoeira holds youth, teen and adult classes at their Capitol Hill and West Seattle location, and serves kids weekly year round through Seattle area after-school enrichment programs and camps in both the public and private sectors.
Fenix Capoeira also brings artist from Brazil and around the world for its annual Batizado Cord Ceremony, exposing students to a celebration of Capoeira and Brazilian culture.
